Hi there!

My name is Naomi and I am the founder behind Hunter&Co Designs. I have always been quite crafty as a quiller (paper craft) and have been a loyal participant of annual local shows ever since I moved to the Territory 12 years ago. During the Covid lockdowns, my 3 young children started to do playdough, then I purchased polymer clay - and we haven’t look back.

Hunter&Co Designs is a small (but growing) local family business. In January 2022 we moved from the tropical Katherine to the desert country in Alice Springs. A month later, I started the business: Hunter&Co Designs. In April 2022 we had our first market in the Todd Mall and after a success that exceeded all hopes and expectations, we have been attending since. A couple of months later, the local art gallery approached us and this started the first of many wholesale collaborations. We are now proudly stocked in NT, SA, QLD and WA.

We had another big moment of success in April 2023 we feathered on Sunrise (Channel 7 breakfast show). This really gave us a huge exposure and the kick I needed to finally run a website. I am still pinching myself that a small business owner like me can achieve so much in such a short amount of time.

We are inspired by nature. I am a self-proclaimed and proud bird-nerd. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by animals, their footprints and their habitats. I like birds specifically due to their varied and unique appearances, but you’ll find that all aspects of nature are reflected in our designs.
